2012 Training Programme

Dear Colleagues,

Philip B. Crosby defined quality as, "… the degree of agreement with proposed requirements". Quality for us means to live up to the expectations of our clients; to offer interesting courses, to communicate clearly, to efficiently provide services and have excellent instructors.

To be certain that our courses and services are of high, measureable quality, we decided to strive for EDUQUA certification. This process lasted several months and ended with the evaluation by an assessor. I am happy to tell you that we passed the certification with flying colors and have the EDUQUA "stamp of approval".

The continued demand for IBITA recognized Basic Courses in the Assessment and Treatment of Adults with Neurological Conditions – the Bobath Concept is reflected in our 2012 program. Due to the wishes of participants, all the basic courses are now given in 3 parts.

This years' IBITA recognized Advanced courses focus on Clinical Reasoning, Handling as well as Bobath in combination with Neural Tension treatment.

For those therapists who think an advanced course is a bit too intensive or are returning to work following a "break", we offer a three-day Bobath refresher course.

Instructor Candidates have the possibility to attend a two-day seminar which will focus on how one can prepare for and present a patient demonstration in front of a group.

We are offering a one-day CIMT- Constraint Induced Movement Therapy – seminar for those therapists who would like to learn an evidence-based treatment for the upper extremity.

Nurses are also very important persons in Neurorehabilitation. The Basic Course in Neurorehabilitation nursing (Bobath Concept) as well as the Advanced nursing course is something for every nurse dealing with neurological patients.

A special seminar this year is a 3-day Basal Stimulation course.

I sincerely hope that these topics are of interest to you! Please feel free to offer suggestions and wishes for other seminars we could organize for you! For further information and registration please visit our website www.rheinburg.ch!

With kind regards,

RHEINBURG-KLINIK WALZENHAUSEN
